Contest Organizers

Bryan Guo
Bryan is a senior at CCA. He has achieved Distinguished Honor Roll on the AMC 10/12 several times, and qualified for the USAJMO twice and USAMO once, getting a perfect score on both the AMC 10 and AMC 12. Aside from the AMC series, he enjoys going to college-hosted competitions. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and talking on Discord.

Aidan Bai
Aidan is a junior at CCA who has been doing competition math for a long time and qualified for the AIME four times. He helped organize CCAMB last year and intends to continue making CCAMB a fun event. Aside from math, he also does competitive programming and plays hockey.

Katrina Liu
Katrina is a junior at CCA and she has been doing competition math for a while, qualifying for the USAJMO two years ago. Katrina participated in CCAMB in middle school and hopes to continue help making CCAMB a great experience for contestants. Aside from math, she enjoys baking, golf, and dance.

Sepehr Golsefidy
Sepehr is a sophmore at CCA who has been doing math since 2nd grade. He has qualified for AIME four times, won MathCounts Countdown at State, and was part of the Carmel Valley MathCounts Team twice. He is also a former CCAMB participant. In his free time, he plays chess and holds the National Master title. He also likes playing piano, running, ping-pong, and listening to music. He hopes you enjoy his problems on CCAMB!

Andrew Jahng
Andrew is a sophmore at CCA who has been doing math since 1st grade. He has qualified for AIME four times and received a 3rd place individual trophy at MathCounts State. He is also a former CCAMB participant. Outside of math, he enjoys playing clarinet, swimming, and hanging out with friends.

Ethan Song
Ethan is a senior at CCA and has been competing in math competitions since elementary school. He attended MOP and has been a member of the CCA Math Team for 4 years. Ethan's favorite math subject is also combinatorics. Aside from math, he also likes to play basketball and cards.

Zhenghua Xie
Zhenghua is a sophmore at CCA. He's been interested in math ever since fifth grade. He is a 3-time AIME qualifier and achieved Distinguished Honor Roll in AMC 8. He participated in CCAMB once as a middle schooler and now works as a CCAMB problem writer. Aside from mathematics, he also likes coding and hiking.

Rohan Mallick
Rohan is a sophmore at CCA. He has been doing and enjoying competition math for about 9 years and qualified for the USAJMO in 2024. Outside of math, he likes coding, piano, and hanging out with friends.

Aditya Bisain
Aditya is a junior at CCA who has been doing math since 7th grade. He qualified for SDMO in 9th grade and participated as an individual for PTMS for MathCounts Chapter in 2023. Outside of math, he enjoys tennis and hanging out with his friends.

Dylan Kim
Dylan is a junior at CCA and he has been doing competition math since middle school. He has qualified for the AIME four times and achieved DHR on the AMC 12. Besides math, he enjoys going to symphony concerts and watching the Padres.

Shiyul Choi
Shiyul Choi is a freshman at CCA who has been interesting in mathematics since 1st grade, but only started competing in math competitions since sixth grade. He has previously competed in the AMC series and other competitions, such as the Falcon Math Competition, where he got fifth place, CCAMB, and BMT. Out of math, he likes to play percussion, flute, and listen to classical music.

Junu Pae
Junu is a freshman at CCA and has participated in competition math since seventh grade. He has qualified for the AIME two times and was part of the Pacific Trails MathCounts Team. Aside from math, he enjoys watching and playing soccer and hanging out with friends.

Ian Rhee
Ian is a sophomore at CCA. He's been doing competition math since elementary school and has qualified for AIME since 8th grade. He has also qualified for the USA(J)MO last year. His favorite math category is combinatorics. Aside from math, he likes to solve Rubik's cubes, listen to music, and hang out with friends.

Smaran Mukkavilli
Smaran is a freshman at CCA and has been interested in math competitions since 2nd grade. He has achieved distinguished honor roll on the AMC 8 and achievement roll on the AMC 10 twice. Outside of the AMC series, he enjoys competing in travel competitions like BMT and CMM. Smaran’s favorite areas of math are number theory and calculus. Aside from math, he enjoys playing the guitar, coding, and chess.

Kai Yi
Kai is a junior at CCA. He has been doing math since 6th grade. He is a USAMO qualifier and got 2nd at MATHCOUNTS State Countdown. He also organized the Estimathon for CCAMB last year. Outside of math, he enjoys coding and playing basketball, piano, card games, and DnD.
Past Organizers

Ryan Bai
Ryan is a senior at CCA. He's been interested in math since his first competitions in elementary school. He participated in CCAMB as a middle schooler, and he hopes future participants can enjoy the same memorable experience he had. He qualified for MOP two years ago and won a silver award at the USAMO last year. His favorite subject is combinatorics. Outside of math and programming, Ryan enjoys card games, ice hockey, and StarCraft 2.

Jason Yang
Jason is a senior at CCA. He has been interested in mathematics since t = 0. He enjoys solving and making math problems. This AIME qualifier hopes to make unique and captivating problems for CCAMB competitors to enjoy. Beyond competition mathematics, he enjoys exploring science, solving integrals, and swimming.

Evan Luo
Evan is a senior at CCA. He has competed in math competitions since 4th grade. A six-time AIME qualifier, he has helped run CCAMB for 3 years and hopes to continue to make the experience exciting and memorable. He likes combinatorics and probability and is a fan of game theory. Outside of competitive math, Evan enjoys programming, cybersecurity, and researching whales.

Michelle Liang
Michelle is a senior at CCA. She has previously qualified for the USAMO and USAJMO and has competed in a variety of other competitions such as Math Prize for Girls. She enjoys geometry, card games, and ducks, and she also serves as CCAMB’s ad interim graphic designer.

Jonathan Xue
Jonathan is a senior at CCA and has been competing in math competitions since elementary school. He has qualified for AIME 4 times and has been a member of the CCA Math Team for 4 years. Jonathan's favorite math subject is also combinatorics. Aside from math, he also likes to play the piano and rock climb.
